This restaurant has build your own desserts that allows you to mix different types of yogurt, and add how ever many toppings as you want. The pricing is based on weight of the desert at the end. There are several different restaurants located around the nation. The restaurant on main street has been open for several years and is very popular. Yogurt City has 3.5/5 stars on yelp. They offer takeout and also provide their customers with wifi. Some of the reviews say that they love the yogurt, the only complaint that I see repeatedly is that the service is not the best.

Sante Fe is a restaurant that intertwines classic mexican cuisine with other techniques from around the world. They are one of the first restaurants you see when driving down main street. You first notice them for their outdoor seating and bright lights. They are a very popular restaurant on mainstreet and with time has built a well known reputation. The restaurant is known for their happy hours, taco tuesdays, and brunch. They also have a kids, late night, breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus. The dinner menu includes salads, alambre, chimichangas, enchiladas, seafood, fajitas, and burritos. They have vegetarian options on their menu and they also offer delivery. They offer takeout and take reservations for bigger parties. They are a casual restaurant with a full bar and numerous TV’s. The best nights to go are Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Grotto’s Pizza is an iconic restaurant when you think on main street and the college atmosphere. When it becomes later i the week and a night the place in filled with college students. There is typically a line out the door of college students wanting to get into the bar area. Grotto’s is also a very well known family restaurant. While the Newark location does not fall into this mold very well many other locations do. The restaurant is obviously known for its pizza, but is also known for the TV’s, popcorn, and bar area. What comes with being a very popular drinking spot for college student means that most likely the restaurant isn’t going to be the cleanses.

The uncleanness rubs many visitors the wrong way. While the restaurant isn’t necessarily dirty, and when I order food I am not nervous about if the kitchen itself is

dirty. The restaurant is also very well known for their take-out. It is a very casual restaurant that provides outdoor seating. As mentioned previously the restaurant has a full bar and can sometimes get loud. The restaurant has 2.5 stars out of 5, which is one of the lowest yelp reviews we have had so far. Many who mention that they came to the restaurant for the bar atmosphere loved it, those who choose to dine in seem to have complaints about the service.

A very popular restaurant is Buffalo Wild Wings which is located on south main street. Buffalo Wild Wings specializes in wings, beer, and sports. They are very well known for

there boneless and traditional wings. While the wings can be expensive they have different days were the wings are discounted. The have over ten sauces some of the popular ones being honey bbq, azain zing, spicy garlic, and medium sauce. They also have dry rubs which are seasoning are very popular some of these are lemon pepper and buffalo. They are also well known for their nachos and their burgers. The restaurant is split into three section dining room, high tops, and bar(over 21).

The restaurant has over 20 TVs guaranteeing that the game you will want to watch will be being played. The drink menu is long with a variety of different types of drinks. Even though they are week know for their wings they still provide different vegetarian

options. The restaurant has recently introduced delivery through EatStreet. There is a small delivery fee and you’re not able to eat the wing special through delivery. The restaurant average around ⅗ stars in yelp. They are most known for dinner and for take out. The restaurant has outdoor setting and in good for large groups. Many of the reviews mention that the restaurant is a good place to drink beer, eat wings and enjoy the game.

A popular restaurant on Main Street is Klondike Kate’s. They are are a family friendly

restaurant. Since they are located in the center of a college campus, during the weekend the restaurant is a hangout spot for college students. Klondike Kate’s has recently been under new management. They made a few changes to the menu. Even though there are a large number of college students that enjoy eating at Kate’s this does not take away from the family atmosphere. On Wednesday’s the restaurant has Jungle John, someone who makes balloon animals, come in to make balloons for the kids free of charge.

Their menu can vary from sushi to pizza. Kate’s is well known for there nachos and wings. The food pricing is reasonable most of the food is 11-16 dollars with a few items being in the twenties. I have been going to Kate’s since I was in middle school and has

always been a place I can enjoy going with my friends and family. Kate’s offers a venue that customers are allowed to rent for events. You get a securing of the restaurant that is secluded for the rest of the restaurant. It is a big space that comes with a small stage.

Kate’s has over 100 reviews on yelp. The restaurant average ⅗ stars. Many reviews mention that the brunch that Kate’s provided is fun and has a large variety of good food. Some reviews also mention that making a reservation is Kate’s is not complicated and easy.

 

Cheeseburger is known for there fun, bright atmosphere . When you walk into the

restaurant your are instantly surrounded by pink, and Elvis poster. The restaurant has an old time dinner feel. There a lots of booths and even a colorful bar you are able to sit down at to get the whole experience. The restaurant offers delivery through lots of different apps and websites. The restaurant is a great family atmosphere, and great for kids. The restaurant is known for big portions, as it says in there logo

Some of there more favorable menu items are a grilled cheese and milkshake. While this restaurant is like by

many I could not ignore all of the negative comments left about the service. Many say that the restaurant servers are unprofessional. Lots of customers have left comments on yelp saying that it took along time for their server to address them. Many customers wrote that it was hard to get your servers attention, to order, and to pay. Also, while many websites offer online ordering of the restaurant all I can find is negative reviews of the delivery process. Many say that their order was wrong and unsatisfactory.

There are also many different reviews claiming that the food is to expensive for the quality of the food. Lots of time the food is overcooked or under cooked. Many customer that return say that they return for the atmosphere not the food.

One of my favorite places on main street is Grain. Many people go to this restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The best nights to eat at the restaurant are Monday, Friday,

and Sunday night. Grain has three locations including in Delaware and in Pennsylvania. The restaurant often has live entertainment and specials.  They have a great atmosphere and even better food. The restaurant is very well known for their burgers. With each different type of toppings you are able to get on your burger you are able to get four different types of patty. The options are chicken breasts, beef, turkey, and a vegan burger.

They have a beautiful area for people to sit outside with fireplaces where dogs are allowed to join you eating outside. The restaurant delivers through the apps GrubHub and EatStreet. During the night time the atmosphere turns into a barn seen, so it is not best for families. The restaurant has a full bar with a happy hour.  The restaurant has Wi-Fi and lots of TV’s. On yelp they average 4.5/5 stars on yelp. The restaurant has lots of reviews raving about how good the restaurant service, food, and atmosphere is. Many reviews rave about the breakfast and the sandwiches.

Roots is a natural kitchen on Main Street that is known for their salads and for their rice

bowls. Their goal as a restaurant is to provide delicious food that doesn’t make you feel tired and slow after your done eating it. They pride themselves on you using healthy, natural foods that make you feel good after eating it. They believe that eating this natural food make you feel more productive, more resilient, and happier. Eating the healthier food is suppose to give you energy and make you less likely to getting sick. They have 3 locations now and are planning to open to other locations. The resaturates started off making natural, delicious donuts. All of their locations are in the area(Virginia and Delaware), but the newer locations are going to be in Pennsylvanian and Texas.

All of their bowls have a lot of natural ingredients that makes every bowl different, but there is some common cofactor between the bowls. They have a primary base which is normally some type of rice, and a secondary base which is normally some type of a

green. They then have the ingredients which is vegetables and other naturals foods. they also normally have some type of grilled bowl. these can be mushrooms, tofu, and chicken. The bowls also come with different types of dressing to top off the bowl. The bowls vary form $8-$10 base on what bowl you get. Like many restaurants on Main Street they have a create you own option. With the create you own you are able to get 5 ingredients, dressing, and a grilled item. The price varies based on which type of grilled ingredient you get.

The restaurant has 66 reviews on yelp and has an average of 4.5 stars out of 5 stars. Overall the reviews mention that they like the variety of ingredients, and they find the natural food delicious. Many of the reviews mention how fresh the food is, and recommend that people go and try it themselves. When I went I had the signature roots bowl, and I loved it. I recommend that everyone goes in and tries it themselves, and develops their own option.

 

The newest restaurant on main street is the mac mart, which has a large selection of different types of mac & cheese combination. There are different types of cheeses, and

different types of toppings. They have both vegetarian topping options and numerous options of adding meat to your bowl. They have 18 different combinations that you van put on you mac & cheese. Some of the different toppings that they have are tator tots, jalapeños, crab, chicken. bacon, spinach & artichoke dip, and tomatoes. One of the things that are special about their mac & cheese is they put different types of crunches of top of their mac & cheese. This allows the mac & cheese to be crunchy and adds some extra flavor. The different types of these crunches are potato chick panko crunch, and cornbread crunch. They also have different foods like the return of the mac which is a grilled cheese on Texas toast with mac & cheese in the middle.

The restaurant floor plan and furniture is very cool and modern.  There are couches, bars, and booths. The colors around the store are bright pink and yellow. They have

something which is called crunches corner. The restaurant uses old candy dispensers to allow the customers to put small portions of the crunch for 50 cents. The prices of these bowls are a little expensive for the amount/quality of food you are getting. The mini mac which is smaller and has no topping is $8.25. The other bowls $9.50+ to $11+. You are able of create a bowl which varies in prices based on the fact of how many topping you put on your mac & cheese.

Due to the fact that they are a newer restaurant there are very little amount of reviews

of this resaturates. The reviews that I have been able to find are very different. Some of the reviews say that they love the food and the atmosphere, while other reviews talk about the fact that there is nothing special about this restaurant. Some references that there is mac & cheese across the street that is cheaper and just as good. I went in a couple weekends ago and I was underwhelmed by the food and service. The food wasn’t impressive, while it wasn’t bad I saw no difference from the mac & cheese that I am able to make at home with a lower cost. As always I encourage you to stop in yourself and develop your own opinion about the restaurant.

Newark Shopping Center which is located at the top of Main Street has a grocery store, gym, bank, movie theater, and dollar store. Some thing that I feel is easily forgotten is the large variety of restaurants and places to eat inside the shopping center.

The first place that I am going to talk about is Mayflower. The sushi restaurant is very popular and not to expensive. They are open from 10 am-11 pm. It’s been open since 2004. They have more than 38 different sushi rolls. Almost promising that if you like sushi that they will have something that you will be interesting in having. You can buy individual rolls, platters, individual sushi pieces, and combos meaning that no matter how much sushi you want they will be able to give you that amount. Prices very from 1.40(individual slice) and 19.00(different specials) no matter your budget you will be able to get sushi.

Another restaurant located in the Newark shopping center is the Brazilian steak house. If you have never been to this restaurant before the staff walks around with lots of different types of meat of skewers, if you want the meat that the server has you take a

slice or a piece. While this restaurant is very expensive, but they have excellent service, food, and value. The two things that this restaurant known for is it’s lamb and it’s skewers. They also provide a salad bar, which is fresh. The salad bar has a very large variety of choice, There are also lots of different meat selections, the only complaint that I saw a few times was that you had to wait a while for the lamb. I read a large selection of reviews and the overall tone was that while this restaurant was very good, it is to expensive to eat at regularly.

The next restaurant in the shopping center that I am going to talk about is is the Mediterranean Grill. It has 324 rating, and an average of 4.5 stars on grub hub. It is your average restaurant with appetizers, salads, burger, paninis sandwiches, chicken, seafood,

Italian, deserts, and sides. What this restaurant is known for is it’s Greek food and it’s gyros. It has a large variety of Greek dishes such as Greek spaghetti and Greek cooked chicken. The Greek dishes average in price from 11 dollars to 25 dollars. They have 11 different types of gyros(including different platters) and they average in price from 9.50 to 14.50. they average all 95%+ on grub hub for delivery accuracy of order, and food overall. Many different reviews mention how fast their food arrived. Also, many reviews mention that the food is very good, and a very reasonable price.
